Christine Sullivan, believes that each of us can and do make a difference by following our passion and taking action whether in a big or small way and that collectively these actions bring hope and possibility to seemingly impossible circumstances. Christine experienced this firsthand when she helped rescue Cinnamon, her brother's military puppy who was abandoned 7000 miles away in the former Soviet Union by the dog handler entrusted to bring her to the US. Everyone thought Cinnamon was lost forever. Christine is the author of "44 Days Out of Kandahar" which recounts Cinnamon's incredible true story and the unwavering faith and determination of all those who came together to rescue Cinnamon. "44 Days Out of Kandahar" along with Cinnamon and Christine's brother, Mark, have been featured on CNN, FOX News and in USA Today. They all have been invited to appear at schools, shelters, libraries and military institutions across the country. An animal lover, rescuer and advocate, whose journey into helping animals began when she was walking dogs at her local county shelter, Christine is proud to donate a portion of proceeds from her book sales to help care for animals in need.
